ما اظن ان هذا الخبر صحيح واتصور انه من ضمن سلسلة الاتهامات المستمرة لدولة رئيس الوزراء ضمن مايمكن تسميته حملة ( دكتاتورية المالكي ) و شيطنة الرجل وتصويره امام الغرب بأنه منفرد بالسلطة ويسعى لتكوين مليشيات خاصة به

الولا الفرقه التاسعه المدرعه لاترتبط بمكتب القائد العام وانما ارتباطها بقيادة القوات البريه وحتى اذا تم تسليم مدرعات لها فهي لغرض سد النقص في الفرقه

السلام عليكم ...باختصار الفرقة 9 العراقية تتسلم اخر 9 دبابات بعد تأخرها لاسباب وصفت بالمجهولة ....
لكن النص الذي جلعني ادون الموضوع ككل..

وقد أعلنت السفارة الأميركية في العراق أن عملية تسليم دبابات من هذا النوع تنجز المرحلة النهائية التي يتسلم العراق بموجبها ١٤٠ دبابة، تقدر قيمتها بما يفوق ٨١٥ مليون دولار، وقد تم شراؤها وفقا لبرنامج المبيعات العسكرية الخارجية الأميركي.
الصفقة للابرامز 815 مليون دولار وهذا مالم اكن اعلمه
والسؤال هنا اذا كانت صفقة الابرامز 815 مليون دولار فقط او اكثر بقليل حسب مايترتب عليها من عتاد ووالخ...
وقرات سابقا عن ان صفقة المدفعية ال109 وال105 لم تكلف الكثير ايضا
فكيف عندما سربت تفاصيل صفقة 12 مليار دولار او 13 كما يقال غطت هذه المعدات التي لم تكلف اكثر من 1 مليار ونصف $

هل حسبت الصفقة زيادة اعداد الابرامز ببرنامج ممنهج .؟
او المدفعية .؟
للعلم الصفقة كانت للاف16 والدبابات والمدفعية لاغير (ممكن ايضا رادارات التي نصبت في قاعدة الامام عليــــــ ع)
ممكن تفسير..؟

Thanks a lot for the information Hayder! can anybody tell me how many T-55s & T-72s are currently serving in the army now & what is the plan regarding them, since 140 Abrams are not enough to protect the country?

hey musab, i think i have the answer to ur question. i read in wiki that the iraqi ground forces has 76 operational t55s and 125 t72s not to mention hundreds of both types stocked in the bone-yards of old era but they r non-operational. regarding ur second question.. u cannot expect too much frm a t55 but at least u can bring it to full operational capability and upgrade it to meat the minimum requirements of a modern battle tank.the most distinct upgrade packages that can provide that r offered by the united states, slovania, and romania according to the order of the pictures.

the first which i think is the most impressive is the complete make over offered by the jaguar up-grade package, which was initially targeting chines t55 n type67 or something im not sure about the chines name of their t55. n both types r laying under the dust in the iraqi army bone-yards. upgraded t55 or t72 can be a temporary solution until iraq get the needed number of abrams or adds another type of tank which i hope t90ms.

The Abrams Iraq acquired is an A1 version but how come its equipped with the TUSK kit ? as far as i know this kit is issued with the A2 version only if im not mistaken ? the other question is which part of the A2 upgrade is not included in the M1A1SA ?

that's cool man but u know what, i think an active protection system like the one fitted on the Korean K2 PIP would make that tank invincible. i don't know y the Americans never used it at least fr their own thanks specially after war in Iraq and Lebanon when the Abrams and the Mercator were crippled by ATGMs.

I disagree, M1A2s are hunter killer tanks, they employee a 360 degree thermal viewer for the tank commander, while M1A1 are not fitted with them. the Iraqi M1A1M is not fitted with a thermal viewer for the commander.

M1A1 is not the best main battle tank of all times, german leopard tanks can beat abram tanks any time any where, further more M1A1 is not the latest version operated by us army my friend it's the M1A2SEP and soon M1A3 will enter service with the us army.

Abrams tank program were stopped to cut military expenses and to induct the new M1A3 tank, all of the operational M1A1s in the us army is being upgraded to the latest standard which is M1A2SEP.

Iraqi Abrams were taken from us stockpiles and were refurbished, stripped down from uranium armor and later on upgraded to M1A1M standard before handing them over to the Iraqi military.

The M1A2 development program is still continuing with the existing Abrams.

None so far is evidence that the presence of a U.S. tank project latest new M1A2 and what is said is just hypothetical speculation.Some believe that the next generation of tanks would be kind of walk and without any human crew

اخي العزيز صلخوا اليوانيوم وما اعرف ايش كلام كهاوي وجماعة نظرية المؤامرة الصراحة مع كل الاحترام والتقدير, الكل يعرف الدبابات صنعت جديدة وتم التعاقد مع الشركة المصنعة شنوا دخل الحكومة الامريكية, الجيش لا يتدخل بصفات السلاح والبلوك 60 والاسلحة الاخرى الحديثة هي تشترى من الشركة المصنعة فهي قطاع خاص واصحاب الشركة هم ناس مدنيون ورجال اعمال معناها انة بالاخر تعتمد على الي يدفع فلوس اكثر يا محبوب السلامة. الجيش الامريكي لا يصلخ دبابة او ما اعرف ايش لان الجيش ليس شركة تجارية او مؤسسة حكومية ربحية مثل الجيش المصري الذي يسطر على الاقتصاد او الحرس الثوري (جنرالات البزنس وجنرالات الرز) . اذا اراد فهو يمكن ان يسقط بعض المواد او يتبرع بها مثل المدافع المستعملة والهاونات والخ من اعتدة التي تركت في العراق وسمتيات الهيوي والخ

العراق يملك النسخة الاحدث من الابرامز, ولحد الان لم يكتمل تجهيز جميع الوحدات الامريكية بهذ النسخة ما عدا فرقتين هم الاولى والثالثة. نسخة الام وان اي2 لم تنتج بعد لعدم وجود طلبية من الجيش الامريكي وانا متاكد لو طلب العراق هذه النسخة الاحدث من الشركة سوف تلبي الطلب وتصنع الطلبية وهذا ايضا يعتمد على مناسبة الاسعار كلشي بسعرة المشكلة في بيع الاسلحة للعراق ليست بسبب تعطيل الحكومة الامريكية ولكن بسسب عدم قدرة العراق على تأمين الاموال الازمة والكل يعرف قصة الطائرات الاف 16 وكيف تمت العرقلة في البداية وتم التعاقد في مرحلتين لعدم تامين الاموال اللازمة.
