The transport aircraft type Antonov An-12 served in the Iraqi air force for the longest period from 1962 where the Iraq was received the first batch out of what is believed 12 aircrafts were servied within the No. 3 squadron and remained in service until the year occupation in 2003. Where they had seen in many airports around the world, both signs of the Air Force or Iraqi Airways. In the end, have become an easy targets, for coalition aircrafts, where they destroyed all of them.
