Iraqi lifecycle cost for the 24 BLOCK III apaches will be $4.8Bn which is $200M per unit

South Korea also ordered 36 BLOCK III apaches for $3.6Bn which is $100M per unit (HALF THE PRICE!)

Iraq is also "loaning" 6x apaches for $1.37Bn! I am presuming this loan period is maybe for 2-3 years max... if the helos each fly about 30 hours per month... that is about 7200 flying hours for $1.37Bn... take away $200M for armaments, about $150,000 per flying hour... excluding fuel cost presumably !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

actually for the price that Iraq "loans" 6x apaches. India last year BOUGHT 22 brand new apaches!!!

استغرب شراء العراق لطائرات الاباتشي بسبب السعر المرتفع خاصة في هذا الوقت. حتى لو كان سعر الطائرة مقارب للسعر الكوري 100 مليون دولار مبلغ كبير جدا. يمكن ان نشتري طائرات مقاتلة او مروحيات روسية افضل بكثير.

لكن العراق الان في حالة بناء لقواته العسكرية و ينقصة الكثير في مجال القوة الجوية و الدفاع الجوي . حتى اعداد الدبابات قليلة . لاسمح الله لو حصل الان اي شي في محافظة اخرى او على الحدود . فالعراق لايملك الا فرقة مدرعة و احدة و هي الان بالانبار

و صاروخ أيجلا بسعر 80 الف دولار يحملة جندي قادر على اسقاط الاباتشي. الاخ أمجد الامور مو بهذة الطريقة تقاس. العراق الان يحتاج الى قوة قادرة على مواجهة اعداءه الحاليين و الي هم (داعش و القاعدة, تمرد داخلي , مواجه محتملة مع الاكراد) و بالتالي طائرة مثل الاباتشي ما راح تقدملك اكثر مما تقدمة طائرة Cessna مع فارق السعر.

انا اعتقد ان امريكا جاي تقدم صفقات باسعار مبالغ بيها للعراق ... مثل صفقة معدات الكشف الذري و ما اعرف شنو ب أكثر من مليار دولار.

The Block III apache has features like controling a UAV that the Iraqis won't be cleared to own in the first place! it has a lot of systems like blue force tracking and other warfighting systems that the Iraqis don't possess for their ground forces (nor will they ever)... meaning that it becomes basically a Mi28Ne equivelant but with LESS armour!!!



deal after deal. shocking waste of public funds from the MOD. absolutely shocking. and they complain that they don't have enough funds to fill out their tank and artillery units. If they bloody well spent the money wisely they'd have more than enough to equip the army and air force handsomely!!

thieving retards. I bet 65% of the Apache contract money ends up in State of Law coffers kick backed to them by LM via some offshore LM owned trusts...
