Iraq should seriously think of this light & modern aircraft as a lead in fighter & ground attck training & as a fighter/attack aircraft!!!!

one problem with the T/A 50 is that Lockheed Martin has vetoed the installation of more advanced radars in it, so that it doesn't compete against the F16s!

Had they equipped this with a Vixxen 500 AESA radar and METEOR/AMRAAM missiles then it would have been very potent. Seeing as LM deliberately wants to gimp it to keep their F16 line busier is a damn shame...
