Sallyport wins $375M to support Iraqi F-16 fighter operations

Pentagon Contract Announcement

Sallyport Global Holdings, Reston, Virginia, has been awarded a not-to-exceed $375,000,000 cost-plus-fixed-fee undefinitized contract action to provide base operations support, base life support, and security services in the support of the Iraq F-16 program.

Work will be performed on Balad Air Base, Iraq, and is expected to be completed by Jan. 30, 2020.

This contract was the result of a sole-source acquisition and involves foreign military sales to Iraq. Foreign military financing loan repayable funds in the amount of $183,750,000 are being obligated at the time of the award.

Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Dayton, Ohio, is the contracting activity (FA8630-19-C-5004).

Lockheed Wins $315M to Support Iraqi F-16 Fighters

Lockheed Martin Corp., doing business as Lockheed Martin Aeronautics, Fort Worth, Texas, has been awarded a $315,604,174 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract, for F-16 Contractor Logistics Support Phase IV.

This contract provides the contractor logistics support and establish a training detachment at Balad Air Base, Iraq, for the government of Iraq.

Work will be performed at Balad Air Base, Iraq; and Greenville, South Carolina, and is expected to be complete by Dec. 31, 2022.

This contract involves 100% foreign military sales to the country of Iraq. This award is the result of a sole-source acquisition. Foreign Military Sales funds in the amount of $29,819,883 are being obligated at the time of award.

The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Dayton, Ohio, is the contracting activity (FA8615-19-C-6051).

Spartan Air Academy Iraq Awarded $25M Contract to Provide CLS Services for Iraqi T-6A Aircraft Fleet

Spartan Air Academy Iraq LLC has been awarded a contract, worth around $25 million, to provide contractor logistics support (CLS) services and material support for 15 Iraqi Air Force T-6A Texan II trainer aircraft.

The firm-fixed-price contract involves 100 percent foreign military sales to Iraq and was awarded by the U.S. Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) Training Aircraft Division, International Support Branch located at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio.

Work will be performed at Balad Air Base, Iraq and is expected to be completed by June 30, 2020.

the price gouging continues. this way Iraq's military budget is bled to keep a tiny fleet of american planes in the air.

Hello guys
I hopes you all r doing great.

I’ve been going through the listed deals here and I was going nuts... hundreds of millions of dollars flying around for maintenance, even though we have a tiny fleet of western airframes. Is this normal?!!!

If so, how could countries with limited resources like Egypt run fleets of hundreds F16s, tens of C130, apaches etc.

What exactly is going wrong here?

مصر اشترت سوخوي 35 عدد 24 طائره بتقريبا 2 مليار دولار

because they have a well trained maintenance specialists

Egypt can do local maintenance by its own which save her lots of money. ,Iraq unfortunately cant'>
