It crashed after delivery to the iraqi air force and at the hands of the iraqi air force. It may not have been located in Iraq as such. But it was no longer Lockheed Martins problem that the Iraqis crashed it... Unless production problems were responsible... But they weren't.

I hoped that we could bought Eurofighter Typhoon or Rafael or even F/A-18 Advanced super hornet instead of the F-16s at 2011

Some say that the incident was the pilot error. And the Iraqi side shall bear the loss of the plane.

Well that picture confirms that the second batch has only 2 twin seaters!

So the final fleet is now known to become

8x dual seaters
27x single seaters
1x crashed single seater
