المفروض العراق يتحسب في سياسته الدفاعية الى حدوث مثل هذه الأمور وعليه ان لا يضع كل البيض في سلة واحدة كما يقول المثل وعليه ان يبني سياسة دفاعية مخططة و محددة لا كيفية حسب رغبة القائد العام الي أتمنى ان ينتهي دوره تماما

و تصحيحا للمعلومات فأن الباكستان تعاقدت في عام 2005 على الحصول على 36 طائرة اف-16 بلوك 50/52 و لكن تم تعليق الجزء الأخير من الصفقة و عددها 18 طائرة بسبب العقوبات التي ذكرتها و لكن تم رفع العقوبات و تسليم الطائرات ابتداء من عام 2012

The Pakistan Air Force (PAF) will receive 18 F-16 block 52 aircraft from Lockheed Martin later this month as part of a foreign military sale (FMS) of 36 F-16C/D block 50/52 aircraft announced in June 2005.

Under the US-Pakistan F-16 programme, Lockheed was awarded a contract for 12 F-16C and six F-16D block 52 aircraft in December 2006. The delivery comes at a time when military aid for Pakistan has been almost completely halted by the US in the wake of a series of crises affecting the bilateral relationship between the two nations.

Despite ISIL advance, U.S. still weighs F-16 commitment to Iraq


WASHINGTON — The administration of President Barack Obama is still planning delivery of the first F-16 multi-role fighters to Iraq.
"The question being explored is whether there are other facilities that can house the aircraft at least temporarily," a U.S. official said.

“The Iraqis have made the F-16s a litmus test for our commitment to their security and future relations,” an official said. “The feeling is there will have to be much greater flexibility on both sides.”

Officials said the delivery schedule called for the arrival of four F-16s in June 2014. But days before the delivery ISIL captured Mosul as well as most northern Iraq, including key military bases.

هذا تقدم كبير... فقط قبول أمريكا بتقييم استبدال قاعدة بلد بقاعدة أخرى تطور جيد ؟ هناك مسألة أخرى ذكر في نهاية المقال أنه كان من المفروض ارسال 4 طائرات للعراق في يونيو / حزيران قبل يوم واحد من سقوط الموصل وهذا بمجمله ليس صحيحا البتة
