interesting comparison from this korean site on the TA-50 (as used by Korea and Indonesia) and the newer FA-50 as used by Korea, Philipines and Iraq.

the FA-50 has RWR / NVIS / compatible with JDAM as well as LINK-16. in addition the cockpit has larger MFDs than the TA-50.

nobody said that the picture with the pilot is a T-50. There are no T-50s in Pakistan. most probably its in a K-8 karakoram.

If it flew in July, can we expect an early delivery? How far is pilots training now?

first one complete in 7/2015... and I believe the last ones will be delivered in 2017... so production rate for Iraq is roughly one per month.

I'd expect they will deliver in December / January 4 units of these. I doubt if they will participate in any combat against daesh though... they'll probably be used as advanced trainers to bring up the numbers of F16 pilots which is where the critical shortage is now...
